Tonight’s dinner was received a tad better than last night and given this is a recipe by David Thompson, that is no great surprise. This Yam Gop Tiam or chicken and coconut salad is from what I think is his first book, Classic Thai Cuisine which was published a good 9 years before Thai Food.
As with a lot of Thai food, the dish was relatively simple to put together but required quite a bit of prep (at least for my slow knife work). We will be eating this again.
