Gado Gado

Quick meal and post for tonight.  Hot Food Cool Jazz is another of the cookbook/CD combos by Terry Durack and Jill Dupleix.  I actually tried char kueh teow out of this on Friday night but it turned into a bit of gluggy mess.  Tonight was better.  After a quick dash to the shops (I really am liking doing a shop on the way home or at lunch time for the evening meal) I first made my own satay sauce as per the book then assembled the dish.  This would be a really quick meal if sauce was prepared in advance and even the meat eater in the house ate it.

  1. Looks lovely, Dave. But haven’t you already made something from this book? ;-)

You had me doubting myself there for a minute

No – it was from their other book Celia! ;) Very impressive David – and I thought I had a lot of cookbooks! :)
